First Project

Key Post-Mortem Takeaway Points

  • Client (PetroSeismic) has spoken highly of the utilization and performance of the drills in the field
  • Proper scouting ahead of any drilling will need to be done before commencing
  • Drilling production will be limited to Social Challenges on EACH future job — they may differ
    • Fair estimate for potential production could reach twenty (20) to twenty five (25) holes per day per drill
  • Fast starts in the morning are key — providing drill team with own vehicle is a must
    • Includes securing a trailer too
  • Looking to purchase own drilling water pumps for rigs — will be more efficient and reliable
  • Staging location needs to be closer to where the crew is operating — could cause security problems for the rigs and equipment
  • Better planning needed for powder distribution — could be a way they limit production?
  • How can we ensure there is enough water for drilling when needed? Another way to purposely limit production?

Path Forward – Key Assumptions

  • What are the prospects for drilling going forward? Backlog?
  • What affect will weather have on our forecast?
  • What are the chances of securing 50% of the large job that is out there?
  • What are the plans for going forward in regards to the TIB?
  • Need to increase price per hole ($135 – $150 per hole — up from $65)
  • Do we increase capacity of drill rigs in-country? If so, how many?
  • Do we hire a full time, local manager for overall operations?

Terrain Overview:

I have separated this program in to 3 different sections.

1) Low level area/flat land.

2) Intermediate/foot hills.

3) Steep terrain/excessive grade.

  1. Low level areas are currently too wet for efficient production to take place. This will require time for the water to recede for drilling to be productive. Approximately 25% of the program is of this type of terrain.
  2. Foot hills are located where the low level areas transition from East to West just before the
steep terrain begins, and primarily the Western part of the program. Approximately 25% of the
    program.
  3. Steep area is the section of the program in the middle, predominantly extending from North to
South covering approximately 50% of the program.

Terrain Overview:

I have separated this program in to 4 different sections.
1) low level areas.
2) Intermediate foot hills.
3) steep terrain with excessive grade.
4) Vibroseis areas.

  1. Low level areas are approximately 10% of the program.

  2. Foot hills are approximately 45% of the program.

  3. Steep area is approximately 15% of the program.

  4. Vibroseis area is approximately 30% of the program.

Cannong Energy

10 reasons why

1- Nimble, Low-Impact seismic (LIS) drills
2- Only five (5′) feet wide
3- No wheels / utilizes rubber tracks
4- Designed to crawl up steep inclines thru all terrain
5- Drills DO NOT require an additional compressor source to operate drills
6- Fully contained compressor and drill engine
7- Dilling operations require LIMITED personnel
8- Key drillers (two units) trained Ex-parts from US
9- Although a challenge to “social” aspect, will poduce realized gains to margins
10- Higher production

We specialize in delivering cutting-edge drilling solutions that revolutionize the industry.
